Hilchos-Lag B'Omer
Since this year Lag B'omer falls on Sunday, you may have a haircut or shave on Friday L'Kovod Shabbos.
- The R'mo (493:2) says that you should not have a haircut (or shave) till the morning of Lag B'omer.
- However the Mishna Brurah says that some Achronim permit having a haircut, the night of Lag B'Omer.
- L'halocho it is preferable (if it is not too difficult) to wait till the morning to shave and have a haircut.
- Therefore this year if you did not have a haircut on Friday you should wait till Sunday morning to have a haircut.
- You may only start playing/listening to music Sunday morning.
The Chasam Sofer says the Mann began to fall in the Midbar on Lag B'omer.
You should daven on Lag B'omer for Hazlocha in your business and Parnossa B'revach.
